The called is ready to serve guests, beginning today, Tuesday, September 24, for dinner. Savor is the only sit-down restaurant located inside Dallas’ Klyde Warren Park. The park is located on top of Woodall Rodgers Freeway and .
The patio at Savor is covered but offers views of the park.
For now, Savor will offer dinner service only, but it will open for lunch service in several weeks, according to a spokesperson. Savor has indoor and outdoor seating, with room for about 300 people.
A second cuisine option also opens in Klyde Warren Park today: A grab-and-go “kiosk” called that sells burgers and fancy French fries.
Here’s more about Savor from Pegasus News reporter Tiney Ricciardi’s :
Glass walls standing about 12 feet tall encase the restaurant, giving it a refined, modern feel. The ceiling contains a series of hole-punctured metal slats, patterned to resemble the underside of a tree canopy. Once finished, chef John Coleman said there will be 60 skylights through which the sun will shine and naturally backlight the slats.
Dozens of liquor bottles line the floating lounge bar at the new gastropub Savor at Kylde Warren Park.
An open kitchen and a “keg wall” separate the dining room and bar/lounge area at Savor. … Perhaps the restaurant’s most intriguing feature, the keg wall will house barrels for 16 wines (eight red and eight white) and 12 beers, both local and not.
See the Savor menus (dinner and dessert) below. Appetizers range from $9 to $17 and entrees cost between $19 and $27
